Who this consultation is for
This is the core session for employees in Germany who need to join several decisions into one workable plan. You may be expecting a child, already on Elternzeit, or approaching a return date that no longer fits the reality of childcare and commuting.
It is especially useful when you are weighing more than one leave period, considering part-time work during or after parental leave, or preparing to tell your employer what you want.
What we work through
We begin with your employment status and the dates that shape your options. Together we build a plain-language timeline covering the intended leave period, relevant notice points, planned conversations and your preferred return arrangement.
The session includes:
- a review of the facts you provide about your contract and employment;
- a dated map of leave and return decisions;
- discussion of a preferred arrangement and one realistic fallback;
- preparation for an employer meeting, including the questions to ask;
- a written action summary sent within two working days.
Scope and limits
Techpilotgrid provides practical employment guidance and planning. The consultation does not replace representation by a Rechtsanwalt, tax advice, medical advice, or benefit calculations by the responsible authority. If your situation involves dismissal, litigation, a disputed contract term or a missed statutory deadline, we will say when specialist legal advice is the appropriate next step.
How the 90 minutes run
The first twenty minutes establish the timeline and the terms of your current role. We then compare your leave and working-hour options against childcare, travel and handover constraints. The final portion is used to choose the next actions and rehearse a clear, non-confrontational employer conversation.
Meetings are available by secure video call throughout Germany or in person at our Frankfurt office. Partners may join when the planning decisions are shared.
After the session
You receive a concise PDF summary, not a generic workbook. It records the dates discussed, open questions, agreed next steps and any point that should be checked with an authority or lawyer. One short clarification by email is included for seven days.
The fixed fee is €185 including VAT. Translation, formal legal correspondence, negotiations with your employer and additional document drafting are not included.
